reputation for being haunted, its accommodation is still
well loved as its quaint 16th century character always
attracts guests. They don’t serve food here but the beers
are definitely well chosen.

This cosy 16th century pub is
conveniently located just across the road from Windsor
Castle and is the ideal place to rest awhile after touring
the great estate. The pub food serves from 11am to 5pm and
the menu consists of familiar favourites such as fish &
chips and beef & ale pie.
The Royal Oak Datchet Road (01753 865179)
The Royal Oak is a regularly frequented by
locals as well as being a popular choice with visitors to
the area. The open fire makes for a warm and cosy atmosphere
in the winter, whilst the outside terrace is much sought
after in summer.
